a) An M4.9 earthquake occurred on 16 March in Northern Shiga Pref. (maximum intensity: 4).
b) There was clustered seismic activity [Southern Kyoto Prefecture] in the vicinity of the border between Kyoto and Osaka prefs., and an M3.9 earthquake occurred on 12 March. The largest earthquake in this activity was an M4.0 on 12 February.
