* On June 2, an M6.1 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 4) occurred offshore of Tokachi.
* On June 11, an M6.0 earthquake occurred near Taiwan (the largest tremor observed in Japan recorded a seismic intensity 2).
* On June 14, an M6.2 earthquake occurred in the Kuril Islands (the largest tremor observed in Japan recorded a seismic intensity 1).
* On June 19, an M6.0 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 4) occurred offshore southeast of the Nemuro Peninsula.
* On June 22, an M6.0 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 3) occurred offshore southeast of the Nemuro Peninsula.
* On June 30, an M5.3 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Lower) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.

* On July 2 at 04:32, an M5.1 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Lower) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
* On July 2 at 15:26, an M5.6 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Lower) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
* On July 3, an M5.5 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 6 Lower) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
* On July 5, an M5.4 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Upper) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
* On July 6 at 14:01, an M4.9 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Upper) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
* On July 6 at 14:07, an M5.5 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Upper) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
* On July 7, an M5.1 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Lower) occurred in the ocean near Tokara Islands.
