(2) Seismic activity
a. Details of the generating locations and the situations of aftershocks
On June 18, 2018 at 07:58 (JST), there was an M6.1 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 6 Lower) at a depth of 13 km in the northern Osaka prefecture.
After this event, the seismic activity became high and until June 30 there occurred 3 earthquakes of M4.0 or over and 6 earthquakes with maximum seismic intensity 3 or over, including the M6.1 event. The seismic activity is confined to the area of length about 5 km extending in a NE-SW direction and to the area of length about 5 km extending in a NW direction from the recent event, and still continues although is decaying.
