① During January, within the aftershock area of "the 2011 off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake," there was 1 earthquake of M5.0 or over (refer to Kanto-Chubu Region). Also there was 1 earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity 4 or over.
Following activity ③ occurred in the aftershock area of the 2011 off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake.
② On January 11, there was a M4.6 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 5 Lower) in Sanpachi-Kamikita region, Aomori prefecture.
③ On January 25, there was a M4.2 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 4) offshore Fukushima prefecture.

On February 2, there was a M5.6 earthquake (maximum seismic intensity 4) offshore Iwate prefecture.
J-EGG500 from the Japan Oceanographic Data Center, GTOPO30 from the US Geological Survey, and ETOPO2v2 from the National Geophysical Data Center in the U.S. were used for the topographic and bathymetric data.
