Comparison of Hypocenters Determined by the Rapid Aftershock Observations and from the Integrated List by the Japan Meteorological Agency

Earthquake locations were used from the integrated hypocenter list by the Japan Meteorological Agency. There were 422 events that were common to both data sets for this time period. Generally, the locations moved in a WNW direction and many of the hypocenters became shallower.
