Seismic Activity for all of Japan during October 2003 (Magnitude 4.0 and greater)


The aftershock activity of the 2003 Off-shore Tokachi Earthquake on September 26, has continued with a M6.4 event on October 8 and a M6.1 on October 11, however, seismicity has been declining.
On October 29, there was a M6.0 earthquake off-shore east of Hokkaido prefecture.
On October 31, there was a M6.8 earthquake off-shore of Fukushima prefecture.
