a) Aftershocks to the 2000 Western Tottori Earthquake are gradually subsiding. However, on December 7th there was an M4.2 aftershock, and at 6:18 a.m. on December 19th, there were two M4.1 aftershocks (all of these events had maximum seismic intensities of 4).

In addition, although it occurred outside of the period under discussion, on January 9th there was an M4.6 event in the Iyo-nada (maximum seismic intensity: 4).
