Kinki-Chugoku-Shikoku Region


a)On April 28, there was an M4.2 event (maximum seismic intensity: 3) in the Philippine Sea Plate in the northern part of Wakayama Prefecture.
b)On April 15 in the southern part of Wakayama Prefecture, an M4.8 event (maximum seismic intensity: 4) occurred in conjunction with the subduction of the Philippine Sea Plate.
c)On April 11, a shallow M4.0 event (maximum seismic intensity: 3) occurred in the Kii Suido channel (Hinomisaki).
