a) An M4.4 earthquake occurred on 12 January in northern Ibaraki Pref. (maximum intensity: 3).
b) An M3.6 earthquake occurred on 7 January in southern Nagano Pref. (maximum intensity: 4) [Southern Nagano Prefecture].
Furthermore, though it is outside our time frame, an M4.1 earthquake occurred on 6 February at the border of Tochigi and Gumma Prefs. (maximum intensity: 4) [Northern Tochigi Prefecture].
