Earthquake Research Committee
The Study Subcommittee for Aftershock
Probability Evaluation Method has been established as a subcommittee of
Earthquake Research Committee in order to carry out studies on methods
of evaluating aftershock occurrence probability in order to contribute
to the present evaluations conducted by Earthquake Research Committee.
2. Content of the Deliberations of the Subcommittee
(1) Study of methods of evaluating the probability of aftershock occurrence
(2) Other necessary topics
3. Membership of the Subcommittee
(1) The Chairman of the Subcommittee shall select the members and specialist members of the Subcommittee.
(2) The Chairman of the Subcommittee shall select Senior Researcher from among the members of the Subcommittee.
(3) The Senior Researcher shall be able to invite specialists to meetings of the Subcommittee to hear their views.
