a) An M4.9 earthquake occurred on 15 July in the Pacific Plate in the vicinity of the border between Ibaraki and Chiba Prefs. [Northeastern Chiba Prefecture] (maximum intensity: 3).
b) An M4.2 earthquake occurred on 18 July offshore of eastern Chiba Pref.
In addition, an M6.1 deep-focus earthquake occurred on 3 July in the sea near Chichijima Island. Also, an M5.1 earthquake occurred on 20 July in the sea near Chichijima Island (maximum intensity: 3).
