a) An M5.1 earthquake occurred on 3 Nov to the east offshore of Hokkaido. This earthquake occurred in the aftershock zone of the 1994 M8.1 earthquake east offshore of Hokkaido.
b) An M4.0 earthquake occurred on 7 Nov in central Tokachi Administrative District.
