Hokkaido Region


a)On September 3rd, there was an M5.2 event in the active zone of the 1994 earthquake that occurred in the sea east of Hokkaido. Also, in approximately the same location, there was an M6.8 event on January 28th, and an M5.7 event on August 16th.
