Seismic activity in northeastern Chiba Prefecture (1)


On 3 June, there was an M6.0 event at a depth of 48 km. Its focal mechanism was a reverse fault type on an east-west pressure axis. On 12 April, there was also an M4.1 event in approximately the same area, and that event also featured a similar type of focal mechanism.
