Kinki-Chugoku-Shikoku Region


a)There have been scattered M3 class earthquakes in the vicinity of southern Kyoto, and on 16 May there was an M4.3 (maximum seismic intensity 3) near the Kyoto-Osaka border [southern Kyoto], and seismic activity including a maximal M3.8 event (maximum seismic intensity 3) near the Kyoto-Shiga border on 21 May.
